NUS Musollahs is a secondary committee under NUSMS aimed primarily at maintaining the prayer spaces in NUS.
Additionally, NUS Musollahs organises mass cleanups over the winter and summer breaks as a platform for the NUS Muslim community to be physically involved in maintaining the prayer spaces. This intends to inculcate a sense of shared accountability for these shared spaces.

Mass cleanups are conducted during Winter & Summer Breaks
The Winter Mass Cleanup are organised primarily to refurbish the prayer spaces on campus and to standardise the conditions of these prayer spaces. Additionally, it serves as a platform to involve the NUS Muslim Community in the maintenance of these shared spaces.
Masjid Tentera Diraja
This Pre-Ramadhan initiative was organised to help Masjid Tentera Diraja prepare for the blessed month of Ramadhan. Collaborating with Masjid Tentera Diraja volunteers, we thoroughly cleaned the mosque, helping to ensure that the mosque was in its best condition to welcome the crowd that prays, engages in worship and seeks knowledge during this special month. It was a meaningful effort, giving back to the community that has constantly supported NUS Muslim Society.
Similar to the Winter Mass Cleanup, the Summer Mass Cleanups are organised primarily to refurbish the prayer spaces on campus and to standardise the conditions of these prayer spaces. Additionally, major changes to musollahs are carried out during the Summer Mass Cleanups, such as the shifting of musollahs to different locations, where deemed necessary.
Masjid Al-Khair
In AY24/25, NUS Musollahs had organised a comprehensive Solat (Prayer) Workshop in collaboration with Al-Khair Mosque. This workshop, led by Ustaz Abdul Hadi aims to go back to the basics and encourage the community to Strive towards Excellence in Solat. Ustaz led us through the understanding of Solat, corrected common mistakes in posture, movement and recitation in Solat and addressed contemporary issues regarding Solat. Alhamdulillah, this clarified the Fiqh (essential rulings) of Solat for the community.
A Social Media Campaign
Simple Deeds, Big Rewards is a social media campaign, initiated in AY24/25 by NUS Musollahs. As part of this initiative, 7 posts were publicised on Instagram, containing reminders of simple habits; du'as, sunnah prayers, dhikr, all of which Allah s.w.t. has promised to mankind great rewards. This meaningful initiative aimed to cultivate Taqwa (God-Consciousness) as we go about our daily lives, by reminding us that even the small things counts in attaining His Pleasure.
A Weekly Social Media Campaign
Initiated in AY24/25, NUS Musollahs releases a reminder on Instgram every Friday, highlighting 3 practices for this blessed day of the week.

Send selawat on Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.
Increase in du'a between 'Asr and Maghrib
This initiative serves not only as a reminder of the simple habits we should add to our Fridays, but also encourages the community to chase after the best practices that helps us to attain His Pleasure.
