About PBUH

PBUH is a committee under NUSMS dedicated to deepening the community’s love for and connection with Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. It seeks to unite the NUS Muslim community by learning about the Prophet s.a.w.'s life, embodying his teachings, and nurturing enduring love for him. Guided by the L.I.F.E. mission, PBUH strives to:

Learn about Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.'s life, beauty, character, and sacrifices
Inculcate his values and teachings into our everyday lives
Follow his practices as much as possible
Ensure that the love for him is Everlasting and not short-lived

The objectives of the project are fundamentally grounded by the following narration of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w., “None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind” (Bukhari & Muslim)

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ

I bear witness that there is no deity but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God.

The significance of Rasulullah ﷺ is clear, as belief in him is part of the Syahada, the first pillar of Islam. The Prophet’s light already resides in our hearts—it only needs to be stirred, like sugar in chai whose sweetness we can taste once mixed. Such is our love for him ﷺ. Undergraduates who feel called to spread knowledge and love for Rasulullah ﷺ have come together to forge bonds and lead events that reignite this love within our hearts.
